Dear Mum and Dad

I heard this the other day on an Aurora Teagarden movie:-
'It's when things go wrong that you especially need to stay in touch with who you really are and what you want.'

This is something that has helped me over the years when things seem to go pear shaped, not turning out as I thought they would or would have liked. What I have realised is  I didn't really know who I was or want I truly wanted. The more I have dived into exploring this the more certain I feel about my direction in life and am able to deal with what appears to be setbacks.

What I have actually realised is these so called setbacks or things appearing to go wrong are just feedback and lessons to be learnt from. And the more I look at them in this way the quicker I bounce back - more confident, stronger and able to continue.

Thank you for your encouragement in always looking to better ourselves and a love of learning, playing games and thinking outside the box. Your willingness to open up to new ideas as I came home with things that challenged your world as you knew it.

This I am sure is standing you in good stead where you are now, continuing your lifelong learning in the spirit realm.

All my love

Dear Mum and Dad,

I recently heard this piece of dialogue in a film:-

'You opened up my heart. You opened it up to change, to not being afraid , to living. I didn't think I could love again.'

'I know what it's like to hold on to something out of fear and I realise I have to trust it's going to be okay, otherwise I'm not living my life.'

This sparked many thoughts of  things over the years that have opened up my heart to change, not being afraid and to living. Also many things I have held onto out of fear, unable to trust all would be okay.

Educational Kinesiology (Brain Gym) was one such thing that enabled me to step out of teaching to embark on a journey of personal development and discovery. I am so glad you both got to experience the joy of opening to new perspectives, ideas and change through experiencing Brain Gym balances with me, as well as attending my workshops.

Well my workshops have evolved and are now specifically aimed at unlocking the writer within, helping people create moment in their business through the written word. More importantly they experience free-flowing writing that engages their reader or potential client, and they get their book written.

Today I took part in a virtual group Brain Gym balance with other Educational Kinesiologists to help us all embrace the world of technology to further our work For me specifically was the intention of letting go of running workshops solely in person and moving with the times to doing them online.
You may ask-
Why go online? ........ that I will explain another time.
What is virtual? .... It is done via your computer and the internet!
How does that work? .... Well there is something called Zoom that enables you to deliver the workshop via a zoom room. Pity you won't get to experience it.
Will it be as good?....  It is different and yes just as powerful.

So now to move forward to living my life and trust all will be okay.

Dear Mum,
Remember when you and dad had a Brain Gym balance each and part of the pre-activity was to look at a fake £1,000,000 note? And both of you were unable to see why you would need that amount of money. It was completely out of your world. Then, after the balance you both, independently, opened up to what more you could for your family, you opened up to thinking of new possibilities that you had never considered before. Suddenly it seemed okay to have that amount of money.

You may be wondering why I bring this up now? Well money has reared it's ugly head, interesting I use that word to describe it. I guess it comes from what I gave as a response to being asked compee the sentence, 'Money is the root of ...' And out I came with 'all evil' Which felt so right and strongly certain.
I also heard the words of a song 'Money, money, money...it's a rich man's world' Really is it? Or is it just an illusion we run our lives by?

Where is this going? You may well ask. I will tell you tomorrow.
For now I will love you and leave you.

Dear mum

As we come to the end of another year, wondering what the next will bring, I am reminded of the saying;
'Today is the tomorrow I was worrying about yesterday. And all is well.'
Happy New Year to one and all, may it be one that is prosperous, filled with love and fun. A magically unfolding adventure into the unknown, where the only certainty is change. And best laid plans don't always go to plan, they very often take unexpected turns and, if you let them, can actually turn out more exciting and workable.

Dear mum
From he big picture down to the detail. My question and enquiry today was 'What do I want to accomplish in 2019?'
After being drawn to look at 8 areas of my life I decided to pair them off and give each pair a 3 month period of focus. And if anything comes up that is in another area I will just make a note to focus on that in the allotted time period - so stop me going off track.
After spending an amazing day with Arti Shah, talking about and creating what we wanted to accomplish for the year, in particular the first 3 months for the pair of life areas to be focused on, I can now spend the next 2 days writing it out clearly - at present it is all just rough notes! Make sure I display it so I can keep in sight what I want to accomplish. Then at the end of each quarter do the same for the next pair.
Focus and commitment are the key words here. In order to maintain my focus I need to reconnect with my why. To do this I need to write out my story, opening up into the depths of the emotional aspects, the aspects that have long since been buried and forgotten, and write from there.
For some it may be a case of rewriting their story and opening up into the emotional aspects.
The thing to do is to notice when you become sidetracked, a sign of disconnection from your why and your story, do the inner work and then rewrite it. And get back on track.
My first two life areas are career/work and physical (health and environment).
